Winnie D. Greeley

Winnie D. Greeley, 79, of Brookville, PA passed away peacefully in the afternoon on February 22, 2021. She was born and raised in Brookville on September 23, 1941, to the late Harry “Dick” B. Greeley and Bernice Ardell (Alford) Greeley. She was married to the late Henry Cook Jr. Loving mother to two children, daughter Cynthia Cook and son Steven (Barbara) Cook. She was wonderfully devoted to her three grandchildren, Jamie Popson, Steven J. (Amber) Cook, and Cristy (Jon) Davis, and seven great grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Janelle, Jared, Jacob, Tye, Brinley, and Aurora. She cherished every moment spent with her family. Dear sister to Dan Greeley, Thomas (Becky) Greeley, Wanda (Jerry) Smith, Joseph (Vicki) Greeley, Colleen (Ray) Reddinger, Lee (Mary) Greeley, Paul (Sharon) Greeley. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Joseph Snyder. In addition to her parents, Winnie is preceded in passing by sister Constance Snyder. Winnie spent a lot of time outside planting flowers, trees, and shrubs. Rain or shine, you would find her tending to her plants and often talking to them, as well. A viewing for family and close friends will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 2 – 4pm at the McKinney d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville PA, 15825. The funeral service will be broadcast on Thursday, February 25, 2021, beginning at 4pm and officiated by Pastor Henry Scoff.
