Ronald G. Snyder

Ronald Snyder, 84, of Punxsutawney, PA, passed away on November 20, 2021, while a patient at the Punxsutawney Hospital in Punxsutawney, PA. Ron was born on November 13, 1937, to the late Gerald and Virginia (McClelland) Snyder in Youngstown, OH. Ron graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree. He was a business owner; he co-owned Murdock’s bar in Punxsutawney, PA, and owned S&S Auto Parts with his sons. Ron loved racing and working on cars. Ron is survived by three sons; Tracy Snyder of Punxsutawney, PA, Kent (Mary) Snyder of Sarver, PA, and Mark Snyder of Horseshoe Bend, ID; one brother; Gary (Sandra) Snyder of Lake Havasu City, AZ; one sister; Billie Sue Weaver of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren; Jarret Snyder, Jenna Snyder, Keith Snyder Emerson Snyder, Erica Snyder, and Allie Snyder; two great-grandchildren; Finnegan Nelson and Sawyer Holt. He is also survived by his longtime partner Lucille Farcus and the mother of his children Joan Snyder. Family and friends will be received from 12 – 2pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing beginning at 2pm also at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Terry Felt.
