Raymond “Ray” Lamar Hannah, 79, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away during the evening hours of Friday, January 15, 2021, while a resident of the DuBois Nursing Home. He was born on August 19, 1941, to the late Harold C. and Lorraine (Delp) Hannah in DuBois, PA. He graduated from DuBois Area High School with the class of 1959. Ray served active duty with the United States Army during the Vietnam War during which time he was stationed in Greenland. Ray married Myra “Dee” Rea on May 5, 1963; Dee survives him. He worked in the maintenance department at Triangle Auto Springs until his retirement in 1995. Ray was a member of the First Baptist Church in Reynoldsville. Ray loved his wife of fifty seven years and his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed spending his many winters in Myrtle Beach with all of his “snowbird” friends. Ray was very proud of his military service with the US Army. In addition to his wife, Ray is survived by two daughters; Tracy (William Schultz) Pruzinsky; Kathy (Joseph) Kenawell; and six grandchildren; Corey Pruzinsky; Liz (Brett) Peterson; Sydney Pruzinsky; Benjamin Kenawell; Hannah Kenawell; and Adam Kenawell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by one brother; Harold K. Hannah; and one granddaughter; Samantha Lynn Pruzinsky. A private funeral service will be broadcast on Monday, January 18, 2021, beginning at 1pm. Military Honors will be rendered by the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. Interment will take place at the Reynoldsville Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 200 Vesey St. 28th Floor, New York, NY 10281.
