Patricia A. Fernandez

Patricia A. Fernandez, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 1, 2021, at her home in Reynoldsville, PA. She was born on July 3, 1932, to the late William Atler and Carrie Edna (Grimes) Morgan in Frederick, MD. Patricia married Peter O. Fernandez on March 23, 1951, in Chicago, IL; Peter preceded her in passing on March 4, 2020. She retired as a customer service representative for General Electric in Baltimore, MD, after nineteen years of service. She was a long-time member of the Reynoldsville First Baptist Church. She was very involved in her faith and would consistently attended conferences. She also managed a Christian camp in Hanover, MD, with her husband for a time. Patricia was a professional skater when she was younger and also enjoyed skiing. After her family started to grow she became primary caregiver to them all and loved them each dearly. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed knitting. She will be sorely missed. Patricia is survived by two sons; Douglas (Wanda) Fernandez of Pasadena, MD; Reverend Robin (Sandy) Fernandez of Reynoldsville, PA; one daughter; Jo Fernandez of Winston-Salem, NC; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in passing by one son; Guy Peter Fernandez; and one brother; Carroll E. Morgan. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at the Reynoldsville First Baptist Church, 516 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA, 15851, beginning at 11:00am and officiated by her son, Reverend Robin Fernandez. Interment will take place at the Reynoldsville Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Reynoldsville First Baptist Church, 516 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
