Mary Adeline (Senott) Mancuso

Mary Adeline (Senott) Mancuso, 92, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away during the evening hours of Friday, March 19, 2021, The Feast of St. Joseph. She was born on February 26, 1929, to the late Joseph and Philomena (Pennett) Senott in Rossiter, PA. She attended Rossiter High School. Mary married Louis Vincent Mancuso on April 9, 1952; Louis preceded her in passing on September 4, 1980. She retired from Brockway Glass in 1985. Mary had great faith and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Reynoldsville, Catholic Daughters of America, Rosary and Altar Society, Auxiliary of St. Mark’s Seminary in Erie, and an associate member of Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in San Francisco, CA. Mary was a person of great hospitality and a magnificent cook. She loved welcoming people into her home and loved being social. She also attended bingo, and enjoyed every opportunity she had to spend with others. Mary loved visiting California and had hundreds of friends there. Mary was a loving and knowledgeable person who had a deep compassion for all. Mary is survived by one daughter; Alice Mancuso of Reynoldsville, PA; one son; Father Anthony Mancuso of San Jose, CA; one step daughter; Eileen Hotaling of Montrose, CO; and one sister; Catherine Clara Senott of DuBois, PA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing by one brother; Joseph A. Senott; and one sister; Rose Marie Ashenfelter. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 25, 2021, from 2pm to 4pm at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 26, 2021, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 607 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851, beginning at 11am with Father Anthony Mancuso, Father William Barron, and Father Thomas Malia concelebrating.
