Marilyn "Sue" Bullers-Hepler Obituary

Marilyn “Sue” (Galbreath) Bullers-Hepler, 90, of Brookville, PA, formerly of Lakeland, FL, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, while a resident at Laurelbrooke Landing in Brookville, PA. She was born on September 2, 1931, to the late Raymond E. and M. Lucille (Hoffman) Galbreath in Brookville. She graduated from Sigel High School with the class of 1949. Sue attended Clarion State Teacher’s College after high school. She married David E. Bullers on February 14, 1953, in Brookville; David preceded her in passing. She married Robert D. Hepler on July 22, 1977, in Bethlehem, PA; she was also preceded in passing by Robert. Sue held many jobs in bookkeeping and accounting throughout the Brookville and Bethlehem, PA, areas. She retired from the Bethlehem Steel Railroad in 1990. Sue was Methodist by faith and held attendance in churches throughout her life, in Sigel, Bethlehem, and Lakeland. Sue was an active person who loved golfing, dancing, and watching her husband coach his football team at Liberty High in Bethlehem, PA. Sue and her husband traveled through all fifty states, Mexico, and most of the Canadian provinces. Sue is survived by three children; Roxanne Klepfer of Sigel, PA; Diane Simpson of Roseville, PA; Craig (Joan) Bullers of Knox, IN; three stepchildren; Daniel (Dee) Hepler of Texas; Terry Hepler of Texas; Tracy (Cheryl) Hepler of Seattle, WA; two sisters in law; Sylvia Galbreath; Pat Galbreath; ten grandchildren; Zandra (Wayne) Acree; Lana Strawderman; David (Stacey) Klepfer; Abby Beatty; Michael Newby; Nathan Simpson; Hayley (Ben) Whitling; Brian Bullers; Josh Bullers; Asia Hepler; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two nephews; and one niece. In addition to her parents and husbands, Sue was preceded in passing by two brothers; Larry Galbreath; Chuck Galbreath; one son in law; Richard “Rick” L. Simpson; and nephew Shawn Galbreath. Services will be held privately to the family and have been entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
