Kevin Harper Smith

Kevin Harper Smith, age 57, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away at home in the early morning hours on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Kevin was born on November 16, 1964, in DuBois, PA, to Caroline (Stewart) and Harper Smith, who survive him and live in Reynoldsville, PA. Kevin graduated from Jeff-Tech Auto Mechanics with the Class of 1983. On April 11, 2003, Kevin married Lisa K. Murray in Reynoldsville, they have been together for 29 years. Kevin worked for 26 years at Johnson Motors and most recently at Enterprise Car Rental. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed dirt car racing and being at the track, Kevin helped his brother with his late model racer for several years. He enjoyed NASCAR and Motor Trend TV. In addition to his parents and wife, Kevin is survived by his children; Kevin Christopher (Courtney) Smith of Sigel, PA, Brittany Marie Smith of DuBois, PA, Cody Taylor (Alyssa Bennett) Smith of Reynoldsville, PA, stepson James R. (Kelly) Hester of Reynoldsville, PA; nine grandchildren; Riley, Landon, Sawyer, Bella, Lexy, Jaelyn, Kaidence, Lily, and Caleb; one brother; Brian (Missy) Smith of Reynoldsville, PA; one sister; Marsha (Rick) Levinson of Brockway, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by a grandson Neko Smith and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Family and friends will be received from 9 – 11am, on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation beginning at 11am and officiated by Pastor Kevin Brooks.
