Jerry Blaine Fillhart

Jerry Blaine Fillhart, 62, of New York City, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. He was born on March 20, 1959, to the late William Milo and Erma Yvonne (Connelly) Fillhart in Coudersport, PA. Jerry graduated from Robert Morris College and went on to work at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital in DuBois, PA. Jerry later relocated to Anna Maria Island, FL in 1985 where he was the CFO of Fast Eddies Restaurants until 1991. He then moved back home to Coudersport, PA and worked at Adelphia until 1999. Jerry made one final move to Bushwick Brooklyn, NY where he was a member and served as a Pastor with Living Waters Fellowship. He also helped with various non-profit organizations in NY and was employed at Young Peoples Chorus of NYC. Jerry loved his family more than anything. He was devoted to his Aunt Ruth Fillhart who he called every night, including the night before he passed. Jerry’s favorite holiday was Christmas. Every year he gave his three sons boxes of “happy” for all the family members. He served faithfully at Living Waters and was known as an incredibly generous man, reaching out to help others in a multitude of ways. Jerry will be greatly missed by those who he walked with daily at work, his church, and to those who crossed his path. Jerry is survived by his three sons; Neill Steven Fillhart of Biloxi, MS; Nathan Paul Fillhart of Portage, PA; Zachary Milo Fillhart of Waveland, MS; brother; Rick Fillhart of Roulette, PA; and five grandchildren. A graveside service will take place Monday, July 5, 2021 at the Sykesville Memorial Cemetery beginning at 11am and officiated by Pastor Jim Fillhart. Final interment will take place at the Sykesville Memorial Cemetery, Sykesville, PA 15865, Jefferson Co.
