Jane Myers Obituary

Jane C. Myers, 96, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away during the afternoon hours of Friday, July 9, 2021, while a resident of Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. She was born on April 7, 1925, to the late Simon and Mabel (Vanderpool) Curry in Big Run, PA. She graduated from Sykesville High School with the class of 1943. She worked for Brockway Glass for eighteen years until her retirement. Jane married James Edward Myers on October 13, 1947; James preceded her in passing on July 10, 1986. She was a member of the Reynoldsville First United Methodist Church and the Reynoldsville Fraternal Order of Eagles 540. Jane is survived by two children; David (Sandra) McMinn of DuBois, PA; Helen (Lyle) Woodrow of DuBois, PA; four grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in passing by one sister; Helen M. McMinn. Services will be held privately to the family and have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
