Helen (Burton) Haag, 82, of Reynoldsville, PA , passed away during the afternoon of Sunday, March 28, 2021. She was born on October 28, 1938 to the late Samuel Logan and Annis (Moore) Burton in Richwood, West Virginia. Helen married Carl Philip Haag on November 30, 1957; he precedes her in death. In 1999, Helen retired from Brockway Glass as an inspector after 29 years of service. She was protestant by faith. She’s a member of the Reynoldsville Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Fraternal Order of Eagles #4454. She enjoyed listening to country music and going to the Hickory Grange, going on cruises, sewing, crocheting, knitting, ceramics, macramé, going to auctions, shopping, and bowling. Above all else she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and great grandchildren. She is survived by one son; Jeffrey and wife Barbara Haag of Reynoldsville; four granddaughters; Shauna Hinojosa of Reynoldsville; Shannon and husband Ryan Martini of Brockway; Shelbie and husband Cody Overturf of Reynoldsville; Shaylea Haag of Reynoldsville; five great grandchildren Aubree and Andrew Hinojosa; Blakelee and Kynslee Overturf; and Eugene Martini; two sisters; Annis Lea Piotrowski of Logansport, Indiana; and Elsie Harris of Kokomo, Indiana; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by son; Carl Steven Haag; three sisters; Virginia Copeland; Elizabeth “Lizzie” Butler; and Edna Mae Bufkin; two brothers Eugene “Bub” Burton and John W. Burton Sr. Services will be held privately to the family and have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
