Diane Gail Hughes

Diane Gail Hughes, 76, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, while a patient at Penn Highlands DuBois in DuBois, PA. Diane was born on August 19, 1946, to the late Theodore Deloss and Carmen Agatha (Pierce) Hughes in DuBois, PA. Diane graduated from Reynoldsville – Sykesville Area High School with the Class of 1964. After high school, she continued her education at Hamot Hospital School of Nursing in Erie, PA and graduated with the Class of 1967. Diane worked for numerous nursing homes in North Carolina, Florida, and Pennsylvania. She also sold real estate in North Carolina and Florida. Diane enjoyed her cappuccinos and salads. You could always find her streaming movies or TV shows in her free time. Above all else, Diane loved spending time with her family. Diane is survived by one daughter; Adrienne G. (Michael A.) Via of Reynoldsville, PA; one sister; Beverly Hughes of Holley, NY; and one brother; Gary Hughes of Centreville, VA. She is also survived by granddaughter; Sierra A. Via and her wife, Crystal Smith of Reynoldsville, PA; and one grandson; Aiden T. Via of Reynoldsville, PA. In addition to her parents; Diane is preceded in passing by one brother; Keith Hughes. Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 10am – 12pm, at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation, beginning at 12pm and officiated by Pastor Sam Bundy.
