Carol Eileen (Terwilliger) Heriger

Caroline “Carol” Eileen (Terwilliger) Heriger, 68, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, while a patient at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. She was born on November 29, 1953, to the late Melvin L. and Florence K. (Barnett) Terwilliger in Brookville. Carol was married to Newton “Bud” Heriger; Bud preceded her in passing on January 11, 2011. Carol loved animals and especially enjoyed attending the fairs to see the animal events. Carol was a loving person who cared deeply for her family and those she loved. Carol is survived by four siblings; Millie Terwilliger; Linda Terwilliger; Barb Kuhn; Wayne Terwilliger; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Carol was preceded in passing by one sister; Mary Terwilliger; and her uncle; Rufus Terwilliger. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 10am to 12pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing beginning at 12pm and officiated by Pastor Chuck Jack.
