Betty J. Vivian

Betty J. Vivian, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital, in DuBois, PA. Betty was born in Reynoldsville, PA, on August 7, 1936, to the late Lee M. and Ida B. (Brosius) Snyder. On September 1, 1956, Betty married Lucius J. Vivian. After 67 years of marriage, Lucius survives her. She was a longtime member of the Christ Lutheran Church in DuBois, PA. Betty was a loving wife and mother that was able to enjoy and dedicated most of her days to being a homemaker. In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by two sons: Warren E. (Kathy) Vivian, Mark M. Vivian; one daughter: Lisa (Paul) Blasky, all of Reynoldsville, PA; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by three brothers: Clarence Snyder, Kenneth L. Snyder, and Elwood Snyder; two sisters: Annabel M. Clontz and Leona D. Armagost. A private family viewing will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024, with a funeral service on the same day. Interment will take place at Beulah Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Christ Lutheran Church, 875 Sunflower Dr., DuBois, PA 15801. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E.
